(smelling ....)
As far as I know, the fastest runners run away from Tokyo
immediately after the quake were French people.
French companies/ people took a long holiday
and now they are slipping into the chaos?
As usual,
their keen noses catch the smell of Money.

A living history, who shows the life under
the Tenno military regime even now.

Luxury is evil! (Having fun is evil.)
The above words are what the most costful royal family repeated
again and again, and made Japanese feel guilty tactfully.
I understand why our Shintaro could not set
his own time to step down.

Although, the younger generation born after the 1960's
positively organize the charity fest, shows or gigs to
support evacuees in a warm and caring way.
Or some of comedians visited the evacuation sites,
and give free comedy shows with plenty of free foods/beverages.
Having fun is key to help us stay stronger and vital, as you know...

Believe it or not, the younger send more money to the Red Cross.
AKB48 (born after the 1990s), SMAP(after the 1970s),
Ishikawa Ryo (born in 1991)  contributed Big Money.
They sent their private money soon after
the quake without any comments.
AKB48 ($5947149.16)
SMAP ($4757719.33)
Ishikawa Ryo ($2378859.66)
My hat off.

And, UK singer Cyndi Lauper arrived in Tokyo
on the day the quake jolted.
Then, she... did not run away.
She stayed here, and organized the charity gigs.
How cool she was.
