As you know, our festival floats are decorated with
the Tokugawa family's crest & a wave pattern.
Tokugawa Shogun was a big patron of Shinagawa shrine in Edo times.
Furthermore, we locals are very proud of having the beautiful
boat like float. We live with the sea.
