23rd September, Friday - Venus day, moon in Leo,
the 26th day of the 8th lunar month.
Mabon - the Autumn Equinox, yet the mid-harvest fest.
The sun entered the balanced scaler Libra today,
celebrating the day with the equal length of darkness and light.
Sooner, the darker days would arrive here.
For me, Mabon is the day to honour the goddess Pomona.
Her symbol is an apple which is believed to hold the wisdom inside
because of its 5-pointed star.
Five points in a star, hidden inside.
One for earth, One for air, One for fire,
One for water, and the last for spirit.
As usual, I made the apple garlands.
Drying day by day.
It's my dear amulet for the winter to come.
