A Happy Valentine's Day

tokyo    ☂ → ☁ 2-5C
14 February, Tuesday - Mars day, moon in Scorpio,
the 23rd day of the 1st lunar month.

Everybody looks happy. That's pretty much there.
In Japan, the 14th of Feb. is the day that
Women give chocolates to Men!!!
Very strange custom, which was introduced
by a confectioner almost 40 years ago.
Why should Women???

Anyway, let me show you the reality.
Before: 3,000yen chocolate box + beautiful card
(wanna be your girlfriend message)
After (he became her boyfriend): 2,000yen box
Men at her workplace: 300yen choco /each
Teachers / Bosses; 1,500yen box/each
Husband/ Son; no statistics!
The Valentine's day spending on chocolates: near 30,000yen

No men! Women only!
''Give me your signature and photo, please!'' at a famous patisserie shop.

There are much more 'Give-me Boys' in Japan compare to
other countries. 'Look at me, Listen to me, Take care of me,
I'm hungry'... they are almost like 6-year old boys.
But alas, after getting married wives become much talkative
and husbands must listen. What's more, husbands give
their cash cards to their wife because they believe
a 'Mama - mother' can keep his bank accounts safe.
I mean Japanese women are very smart. It's a
good choice to have a Japanese husband if he trusts you!
