Japanese used to cleanse away all evils in the past year
on Setsubun (the beginning of Spring Eve or Imbolc Eve),
in order to start the happy new year around the 4th of Feb.
On the day, I was with a snake (dragon) mask,
his fave eggs, and a snake stone!
