Okaishiki - the ceremony to commemorate the death of
Priest Nichiren who passed away on the 13th of October, 1282.
It is held at night with thousands shining lanterns.
I truly love the Okaishiki.

Tenmyokokuji organizes the Okaishiki ceremony in Shinagawa.
Where?  Minami-shinagawa 2-8-23, near Keikyu Aomono-yokocho stn.
When?  The ceremony date changes each year.
 Beautiful temple.
Saying 'to repay the mercy of Priest Nichiren'.
Many Sunday photographers don't offer the money
to the temple, which is sad.

 Stalls.
↓ Takoyaki (octopus dumpling balls)

 Waiting for the lantern parade.
