bridge to Odaiba - Man-made island in Tokyo bay.
Dating back to 1853,  Odaiba (cannon place), a complex of
small islands was built in order to protect Edo (Tokyo)
from attacks by foreign vessels.
The soil of Mr. Goten (Syogun's palace) in Shinagawa was used
for the islands at that time. During the 1970s Odaiba was redeveloped,
which has become well-known artificial island now.
Shopping malls, residences, hotels and
conference centres stand together over there as you know.
