Each year,
Yoriki Jinja (Shinto Shrine) and Ebara Jinja hold the sacred ritual
to pray for calmer waves and happier lives here.

Shinto priest put Yoriki sacred mask on Ebara mikoshi (portable shrine).
The sacred mask is on.
See! They are ready to go!
There used to be sea 300 years ago!
A fisherman found the mask floating on the sea in 1751,
contributing it to Yoriki jinjya.
They walk through the reclaimed land. and finally
reached to the Shinagawa wharf. It took around 15 minutes.
I don't know where the mask is dipped into the sea for the sacred ritual.
It's pretty interesting.
